Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead solution discovery and delivery for reliability and infrastructure problems
• Contribute to platform architecture, tooling, and roadmap
• Define and operate reliability practices including SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets
• Resolve cross-team requests and identify systemic issues
• Operationalize AI using agentic workflows and reusable prompts
• Mentor less-senior engineers and participate in hiring and RFC discussions
• Collaborate with Security on platform hardening and threat mitigation
• Participate in incident response and on-call rotations

Requirements

• Professional experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Strong infrastructure-as-code practice with Terraform
• Experience with reliability frameworks (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets)
• Background in observability (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• Proficiency with Golang and Bash/scripting
• Practical experience using AI in infrastructure or operations workflows
• Strong asynchronous communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with backend languages like Elixir, Node.js, or Python
• Experience configuring Linux systems in non-cloud environments
• Defensive and offensive security knowledge
