Senior Social Media Manager

Responsibilities

• Own organic social strategy across B2C (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and B2B (LinkedIn) channels
• Partner with the Head of Content to align social with brand and business goals
• Define and lead ambassador, influencer, and community strategies
• Lead content ideation and production, working with internal teams and external creators
• Monitor emerging channels, audience behaviors, and algorithm changes
• Drive biweekly content planning cycles and develop SOPs for scalability
• Track organic social performance using quantitative and qualitative data
• Experiment with AI tools and new formats to increase speed and impact

Requirements

• 7–9 years of hands-on social media experience, ideally in-house
• Full-cycle experience owning content calendars and creator relationships
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data
• Sharp copywriting skills and editorial judgment
• Ability to produce content, direct others, and be on camera
• Clear communication skills for stakeholder management
• Willingness to travel minimally (2–3 times per year)

• Experience in education or working with academic communities
