Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web and mobile applications
• Develop and own a comprehensive regression suite for the health insurance platform
• Embed with product engineering teams to shift quality left during the development lifecycle
• Build and maintain CI/CD-integrated test pipelines
• Pioneer AI-powered quality engineering using LLM-assisted test generation and autonomous QA agents
• Investigate and triage production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Define quality metrics and reporting for engineering leadership
• Champion a quality-first culture and mentor developers on testability best practices

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineer
• Deep expertise building test automation frameworks from scratch
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or TypeScript
• Experience testing React, Next.js, React Native, or Flutter applications
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar JVM-based stacks
• Proficiency with API and integration testing (REST, GraphQL)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Must be based in California
