Senior Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain network delivery solutions for MCG Data Science SDKs including deployment, security, auth, and observability
• Work closely with teammates to understand integration contracts and implement to spec
• Write and maintain documentation and runbooks for owned systems
• Participate in on-call rotation for internal platform services and drive reliability improvements
• Provide expert code reviews and technical mentorship
• Design solutions on modern infrastructure including cloud solutions, k8s, and LLMs

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Deep experience with backend languages such as Python and Golang
• Experience building integrations in distributed systems environments
• Understanding of async patterns, idempotency, and failure handling
• Comfortable with paired programming and design solutions
• Strong written communication skills for documentation
