Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Ruby on Rails, Stimulus.js, and TailwindCSS
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior developers to support team growth
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the technical roadmap to ensure scalability and performance
• Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes
• Design and optimize database schemas and write efficient SQL queries
• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in active code reviews
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement reliability improvements
• Implement security best practices and maintain comprehensive system documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Stimulus.js, and TailwindCSS
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Deep understanding of web development principles, including RESTful APIs and web security
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing
• Previous experience working within the medical or healthcare industry
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong presence in the tech community
