Senior Software Engineer (AI Applications)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy robust Generative AI agents with persistent memory and multi-step reasoning
• Drive development of AI-enabled web-based educational software systems
• Integrate Generative AI features into existing platforms while ensuring safety compliance
• Leverage LLMs and multimodal models for context-aware user experiences
• Establish frameworks for agent evaluation, testing, and performance monitoring
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into production-ready capabilities
• Provide technical mentorship on agent design patterns and LLM integration strategies

Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in a Senior or Staff capacity
• Hands-on experience building complex agentic systems (tool calling, prompt optimization)
• Practical experience with LLM integration and RAG pipelines
• Proficiency in at least two: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization
• Proven experience in full stack web application and API development
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding models
• Experience designing secure systems for untrusted code or user content

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI Agent evaluation frameworks
• Familiarity with scalable inference pipelines
• Knowledge of open tool protocols (MCP, A2A) or browser automation
• Prior experience in EdTech
• Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and Strands Agents
