Senior Software Engineer, Backend Generalist

Responsibilities

• Lead critical backend initiatives for millions of users running AI workflows
• Build rock-solid distributed systems and design scalable data models
• Make code changes across open source ComfyUI and Comfy Cloud
• Work with cross-functional teams to ship features from idea to production rapidly
• Help shape the technical direction of the company as it grows
• Deploy diverse custom nodes in a secure and maintainable way
• Write algorithms to schedule heterogeneous workflows on GPU nodes

Requirements

• Strong understanding of distributed systems and experience scaling large systems
• Proven ability to invent novel solutions to solve hard problems
• High level of ownership and desire to ship high-quality features
• Experience building great products with a focus on user experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Go, Kubernetes, and Postgres
• Ability to deep dive into infrastructure including Kubernetes and Helm
• Fast learner capable of mastering new technologies quickly
