Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers, scientific, and clinical stakeholders to translate requirements into new integrations and services
• Implement features with high standards for data integrity, design soundness, and maintainability
• Draft RFCs to lead complex feature discovery and technical design phases
• Ensure data correctness, completeness, and idempotency as data moves between systems
• Improve operational robustness and ease of use via new documentation, tools, and dashboards

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• 2+ years focused on data platforms and backend infrastructure
• Strong proficiency in SQL and production experience with PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with data streaming and event processing (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pulsar, or Kinesis)
• Proficiency in Julia or Python
• Experience with containerized environments, Kubernetes, and IaC (Terraform or Helm)
• Experience with GraphQL and TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for asynchronous environments
