Senior Software Engineer (C#)

Responsibilities

• Leading a distributed engineering team to design, review, and build well-crafted software
• Collaborate with government partners and other contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new systems
• Working in an agile manner to efficiently ship new features
• Creating tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows
• Writing and reviewing technical documentation and performing code reviews
• Participating in an on-call rotation to support production systems
• Taking part in hiring activities including conducting interviews and debriefs

Requirements

• Experience in C#/.NET, designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
• Hands on experience deploying and operating applications in Microsoft Azure
• Experience working on large-scale applications and systems
• Experience with cloud-native architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
• Knowledge of secure software development practices and authentication/authorization patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and modern software development practices
• Experience leading engineering teams and providing technical direction
• Ability to review code, mentor engineers, and enforce engineering standards
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Azure services such as App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, and Azure AD
• Experience with modernizing legacy systems or mainframe replacement
