Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work across the stack to drive high-leverage projects from concept through to completion
• Up-level the team on expertise in API design, system design, cloud infrastructure, or healthcare data
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team including ML researchers, physicians, and product managers
• Develop new and update existing user-facing features
• Lead and guide cross-team application architectural decisions
• Produce detailed technical specifications and documentation
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for new features
• Use Agile practices to define, negotiate, and estimate features

Requirements

• 5-7 years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer
• Professional experience with React (components, hooks, state management)
• Python backend experience, ideally with async frameworks like FastAPI or Starlette
• Experience with NoSQL and relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, Postgres)
• Comfort with asynchronous workflows, background jobs, and idempotency
• Experience with testing (e2e coverage, visual regression, CI)
• Understanding of AWS, Docker, Terraform, Git, and RESTful services
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• React Native / Expo or cross-platform mobile experience
• Experience building design systems or component libraries
• LLM application experience (streaming, tool calling, eval driven iteration)
• Experience working with healthcare data (CDA/CCD/FHIR)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with Temporal or other durable execution systems
