Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of TimescaleDB Enterprise, an on-prem deployment and management platform
• Develop core product capabilities including management consoles (React + TypeScript), backend APIs (Go), and deployment workflows (Ansible)
• Write tests at all levels, from unit tests to automated end-to-end testing
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders in Product, Support, and Sales Engineering
• Leverage AI tools daily to accelerate development and debugging workflows

Requirements

• 1-3 years of software engineering experience (including internships or substantial projects)
• Working knowledge of Go or TypeScript
• Comfort with Linux fundamentals including shell, SSH, services, containers, and networking
• Familiarity with AI coding tools
• Experience working in collaborative technical environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Experience with deployment automation
