Senior Software Engineer, Front End/Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Lead front end and full stack initiatives from ambiguous problem statements to shipped outcomes
• Partner with product and design to shape user experiences
• Own performance, stability, accessibility, and maintainability of code
• Integrate with third-party ecosystems including mobile apps and subscription services
• Scale and define design systems and UI component libraries
• Use AI tooling as a force multiplier for development
• Champion testing, documentation, and engineering best practices

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and operating production web applications
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Proficiency in at least one modern component framework (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.)
• Ability to work across the stack including APIs, data models, and CI/CD
• Strong project leadership and ability to turn vague requirements into concrete plans
• High degree of ownership and technical honesty

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Shopify (Liquid, Storefront/Cart APIs, Checkout Extensions)
• Experience in fast-growing e-commerce environments
• Proficiency with GraphQL
• Experience with testing tools like Vitest, Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
• Familiarity with Alpine.js
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation platforms
