Senior Software Engineer Frontend

Responsibilities

• Work jointly with Product, QA, and Backend teams to deliver a best-in-class user experience for millions of users
• Design and implement features that anticipate failure and handle corner cases
• Maintain detailed documentation on feature flows and processes
• Communicate and document progress effectively via Jira, Slack, and Confluence
• Develop for a variety of OTT devices including Set Top Boxes, Connected TVs (LG webOS, Samsung Tizen, Vizio, Hisense Vidaa), and gaming consoles (PS4, PS5, Xbox One)
• Take full ownership of your work and participate actively in code review sessions
• Operate effectively within a fast-paced agile environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience with ReactJS and/or Svelte web application development
• At least 1 year of TypeScript development experience
• Experience integrating REST APIs and the ability to quickly learn new APIs/SDKs
• Experience with build tools such as nx, rspack, vite, or webpack
• Proven experience developing and supporting high-traffic consumer or business applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building streaming video applications
• Experience developing for high-performance applications on low-resource powered devices
• Experience with OTT, Connected TV, Smart TV, or Embedded Device app development
• Deep knowledge of web browser rendering and UI performance optimization
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting front-end analytics
