Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the Company

Allocate is building the operating system for private markets. Wealth advisors and their clients use the platform to access, transact in, and manage private market investments. The platform supports 350+ advisory firms and 1,500+ GP relationships, with $5B+ in assets on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Build rich user experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript from prototype to production
• Design and implement new features and endpoints in C#/.NET backend APIs
• Design and implement performant Postgres schema changes
• Use AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex as a primary part of the daily workflow
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and security-compliant code across client and admin portals

Requirements

• 5–10 years of web application development experience
• 5+ years of object-oriented software engineering (C#, Java, or similar)
• 3+ years of C# experience and 2+ years of REST API development
• 3+ years with Vue.js and 1+ years with TypeScript
• 5+ years with SQL databases (Postgres preferred)
• Experience shipping production code using AI agents/tools
• Basic understanding of AWS services (S3, CloudFront, ECS/EKS)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent real-world experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ASP.NET Web API development with ORM familiarity (Dapper, Entity Framework)
• Experience with agentic workflows or custom LLM tooling
• Docker and Docker Compose experience
• DevOps experience with Terraform or AWS infrastructure
