Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Take deep ownership of systems and product areas, becoming the go-to technical expert
• Independently investigate, design, and execute solutions across distributed systems
• Architect, build, and maintain highly available, scalable REST APIs and backend services
• Drive system decoupling, modularization, and technical debt reduction
• Build agentically by leveraging concurrent autonomous agent workflows
• Stay at the forefront of emerging AI tooling and practices to raise engineering standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and go-to-market teams in an async-first environment
• Identify and eliminate single points of failure to improve system resilience

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building large-scale backend systems and APIs
• Daily proficiency with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
• Proficiency in Python, Go, React, and TypeScript
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Datadog, and relational/NoSQL databases
• Strong command of SQL and thoughtful database modeling
• Ability to context switch quickly across concurrent workstreams
• Experience with both 0-to-1 initiatives and complex existing systems
• Clear, direct, and proactive communication skills for async environments
