Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack

Responsibilities

• Evolve APIs supporting user flows to ensure a great user experience
• Optimize queries and relational database schemas for speedy response times
• Implement algorithms related to monetary transaction evaluation, risk management, and predictive models
• Integrate with new 3rd party APIs to serve millions of customers
• Build product improvements and internal automations to decrease customer service workload
• Implement interaction and motion design for delightful user experiences
• Automate visual testing and visual regression detection processes
• Create new mobile and web clients for upcoming products
• Conduct A/B testing and optimize features to boost business performance

Requirements

• 6+ years of industry experience as a software engineer
• Experience with REST-based services and API development using Java
• Experience building end-to-end UI/UX using React or React Native
• Proficiency with SQL databases, schema construction, and migrations
• Strong grasp of modern JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications

• GraphQL experience
• Kubernetes, Docker, or other container system experience
• Quantitative skills or experience in Finance
• Experience leading teams or mentoring junior engineers
