Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act within the Search and EVAL teams to solve central search and quality evaluation problems
• Conduct experimentation and A/B testing in search and recommendation flows
• Optimize user behavior based on data analysis
• Resolve problems related to ranking, relevance, and result quality
• Design, execute, and analyze experiments independently
• Integrate AI tools intensely into the daily engineering workflow

Requirements

• Solid experience with React
• Analytical profile similar to Data Science
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical foundation
• Experience with experimentation, testing, optimization, and user behavior analysis
• Practical proficiency in using AI tools (Cloud Code, Cursor, agents, etc.)
• Good technical communication and collaborative mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with search systems (Elasticsearch or similar)
• Academic background (Master's or PhD)
• History of publications or applied research projects
