Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Kotlin APIs and backend services for distributed pacing and ad delivery systems
• Own critical infrastructure driving optimization decisions across campaigns and audiences
• Scale microservices to ensure high performance and reliability
• Optimize and evolve existing services for better performance and maintainability
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership through peer reviews and mentorship

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building distributed systems using Kotlin and Python
• Expertise in SQL, schema design, indexing, and performance tuning for relational and non-relational databases
• Demonstrated experience with microservices architecture in production
• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS
• Familiarity with Kafka or high-throughput messaging systems
• Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX environments and developer tooling like Git and CI/CD
• Experience with Rust, Python, or data platforms like PySpark

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to OpenRTB, DSP, or ad delivery optimizations
