Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and ship human-in-the-loop interfaces that enable internal operators to review, correct, and approve AI-generated sports statistics in real time.
• Design and develop fan-facing AI experiences, including real-time stat overlays, interactive highlights, and personalized content.
• Own features end-to-end, from data modeling and API design through production deployment.
• Integrate AI/ML model outputs (computer vision, LLMs) into production applications, building the service layer between models and users.
• Develop reusable Python service templates and UI component patterns to establish standards for AI-forward development.
• Collaborate with computer vision engineers, product managers, and data teams to translate pipeline outputs into intuitive user experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python skills.
• Proven track record of building and shipping production web applications and APIs.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into user-facing applications (e.g., LLM APIs or computer vision pipelines).
• Solid fundamentals in API design, data modeling, and service architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure such as AWS EKS and S3.
• Experience with modern data tooling like Snowflake or Kafka.

Preferred Qualifications

• Frontend experience with React/TypeScript, particularly for interactive dashboards or annotation UIs.
• Familiarity with sports data or video analytics.
• Experience with annotation tooling such as Roboflow, CVAT, or Label Studio.
