Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Influence engineering team strategy and product architecture
• Create technical specifications for upcoming features
• Oversee engineering grooming sessions and delegate feature development estimations
• Mentor junior engineers
• Develop new features for the product
• Participate in the code review process
• Engage in design reviews, product retrospectives, and other team ceremonies
• Conduct technical interviews to help build the team

Requirements

• 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on full stack web development
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate thoughts and decisions
• Working knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and MySQL (or equivalent such as Ruby, Node.js, React, Angular, Postgres, etc.)
• Desire to contribute to a heavy code-focused role

Preferred Qualifications

• Enterprise engineering experience
• MVC architecture experience
