Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code using best software development practices
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
• Investigate alternatives and technologies for architectural review
• Propose technical implementations to solve scaling and performance problems
• Manage version control using GitHub and automate continuous integration processes
• Create and maintain software documentation

Requirements

• Academic background in computer science, engineering, or software development
• Hands-on engineering experience with medium to high complexity domains
• Solid understanding of web application security and session management
• Knowledge of relational database systems and Object Oriented Programming
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AWS
• Experience with asynchronous programming and profiling Java applications
• Practical experience applying AI frameworks in development projects
• Familiarity with financial domains such as payments, fraud prevention, or lending is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microservice Architecture and Domain Driven Design
• Experience with automated fraud-detection pipelines or real-time decisioning engines
• Understanding of compliance mandates like KYC/AML, PCI-DSS, or GDPR
