Responsibilities

• Work closely with designers and engineers to design, build, and ship new features from scratch
• Extend the feature set of a collaborative word processor
• Craft beautiful book templates for e-readers and print
• Architect and develop highly scalable web applications
• Evaluate and improve performance, durability, and security of production applications
• Take ownership of tasks from start to finish
• Participate in code reviews and provide/receive feedback

Requirements

• Professional experience with Node.js, Vue.js, TypeScript, and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB)
• Good understanding of modern HTML and CSS
• Strong test-driven development approach
• Perfect fluency in English
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying Single Page Apps
• Knowledge of ShareDB and LaTeX
• Experience with CSS pre-processors like SASS or LESS
• Experience building production-grade applications integrating LLMs
• Experience with build-chain and deployment automation tools like Webpack and GitHub Actions
