Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver functionality by developing working software and ensuring reliable solutions
• Pair with customer developers and military service members to teach agile practices like TDD and design thinking
• Champion AI-augmented ways of working to accelerate delivery and reduce cycle time
• Ensure continuous delivery and gauge feedback from real users in real time
• Build and test software solutions while ensuring teams can build upon provided technical practices

Requirements

• Active US Secret or TS/SCI Security Clearance
• 6-10 years of Software Development experience
• Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Ruby, or Elixir
• Experience with Spring Boot, React.js, Vue, or Redux
• Experience with frontend and backend development
• Experience with container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (Git, Concourse, GitLabCI, SonarQube, etc.)
• Strong understanding of algorithms, databases, and design patterns
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• US Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in training, mentoring, or up-skilling engineers
• Experience developing cloud-native applications
• Experience leading a product or development team
• Experience building and deploying in a continuous delivery environment
• Experience working directly with clients
• Experience with DoD, especially at a DoD "Software Factory"
