Responsibilities

• Experiment and build features alongside other stakeholders from ideation to implementation
• Write simple, readable code and create abstractions that future engineers can easily maintain and change
• Own full-stack features used by hundreds of thousands of learners and tutors worldwide
• Work directly with designers and stakeholders to build new experiments and streamline operations

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer
• Proven track record of creating new user experiences and making technical decisions
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, React, Next.js, and Postgres (or ability to ramp up quickly)
• Ability to work in a US timezone
• Experience shipping code regularly and maintaining high quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep technical experience with AWS and GCP
• Experience building mobile applications
• Experience working in education or on ed-tech products
