Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work on mission-critical, scalable, and efficient data pipelines
• Function as Tech Lead on projects spanning multiple squads
• Draft Technical Design Docs (TDDs) and build consensus across stakeholders
• Evolve architecture to improve operational efficiency and support growth
• Own core product features end-to-end, from inception to launch
• Write clear, concise production code and manage technical testing
• Mentor junior engineers and sponsor their cross-team work
• Proactively tackle technical debt and propose new technologies

Requirements

• At least seven years of total professional engineering experience
• Recent hands-on experience with production-level back-end code (Python preferred, or Java, C++, Go)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Expertise in relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Experience driving medium to large projects from inception to completion
• Experience working on data pipelines and understanding nonfunctional requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Angular, or VueJS)
• Experience with data cloud solutions like Snowflake or Databricks
• Experience with dbt for data transformations
