Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex projects across the enrollment and early member journey
• Design and evolve scalable backend systems to power enrollment workflows and operational automation
• Partner with product, design, data, and operations to translate opportunities into technical solutions
• Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems, ensuring reliability and data consistency
• Lead technical decision-making, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
• Mentor engineers and act as a technical leader within the team
• Leverage modern AI-assisted and agentic coding workflows to accelerate delivery

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production systems
• Strong backend fundamentals in Go and/or Python
• Experience designing and operating scalable backend systems, including APIs and event-driven architectures
• Proven ability to define solutions for ambiguous problems and drive execution
• Proficiency with modern AI-assisted development workflows
