Senior Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Define scalable solution architectures for a modern federal health data platform spanning cloud, on-premises, and government-hosted environments
• Translate mission, business, data, security, and operational requirements into clear technical designs
• Develop current-state and target-state architectures to guide legacy system modernization
• Design integration approaches including APIs, pipelines, and reusable data products
• Establish reference architectures, technical standards, and architectural guardrails
• Guide the effective use of Databricks and cloud services across AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud
• Lead technical discovery and architecture discussions with engineers and stakeholders

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, data architecture, or related technical fields
• Experience designing complex enterprise data platforms or distributed solutions
• Strong understanding of modern data platform concepts (ingestion, transformation, storage, APIs)
• Experience designing solutions for cloud or hybrid-cloud environments
• Working knowledge of data modeling, metadata, lineage, and governance principles
• Strong client-facing communication and facilitation skills
• U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)
• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting solutions using Databricks or Apache Spark
• Experience architecting solutions on AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud
• Experience with Palantir Foundry or Advana environments
• Experience supporting federal health or other regulated/sensitive data environments
• Experience designing AI/ML-enabled components
