Senior Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale technology solutions
• Conduct business and technical discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify requirements
• Develop solution architectures supporting cloud-native, hybrid, and enterprise application environments
• Provide technical leadership throughout the full software development lifecycle
• Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations regarding adoption of new tools and platforms
• Support modernization initiatives involving cloud engineering, containerization, microservices, and DevSecOps
• Design solutions utilizing multiple data stores, including relational and NoSQL technologies
• Develop architecture, interface, and performance standards
• Support implementation of enterprise data architecture and governance strategies
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams
• Present technical recommendations and roadmaps to executive leadership
• Support implementation of AI and machine learning capabilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Solutions Architect or Enterprise Architect role
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions
• Experience with AWS and familiarity with Azure or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong experience leading software development initiatives utilizing Java, .NET, or similar technologies
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, and CI/CD
• Experience designing architectures utilizing SQL and NoSQL databases
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale cloud migration initiatives
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices architectures
• Experience with enterprise data architecture and metadata management
• Experience implementing AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics solutions
• Experience supporting federal government programs
• Cloud, architecture, or cybersecurity certifications
