Senior Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on platform and application strategy to move to real-time, event-driven architectures.
• Deliver onsite and remote workshops for architects, developers, and operations teams.
• Design, build, optimize and debug streaming data infrastructure using Apache Kafka and the Confluent Platform.
• Investigate complex technical challenges with Engineering and other teams; produce recommendations and summary documentation.
• Provide product and engineering feedback based on customer engagements and operational experience.
• Build internal or customer-facing tooling and test performance/functionality of new components.
• Write and edit documentation, reference architectures, design patterns and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in community and industry events to share best practices and represent Confluent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Confluent Platform and commercial Kafka deployments.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Storm and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra).
• Proven track record managing multiple B2B infrastructure projects, driving adoption and customer satisfaction.
• Experience running high-throughput systems on AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Background in building operational tooling, performance testing, and producing reference architectures.
• Consulting or customer-facing professional services experience in the Middle East region is a plus.
