Senior Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support technical sales conversations by joining customer calls and explaining how Brave Search API fits into AI workflows
• Run demos and build proof-of-concepts including small apps, notebooks, and examples for RAG and LLM use cases
• Help customers move from their first API call to a working integration by removing technical blockers
• Improve sales and onboarding materials such as technical guides, sample code, and FAQs
• Provide clear feedback to Product and Engineering regarding missing features, documentation issues, and competitive gaps
• Improve the developer experience by optimizing API onboarding and setup flows
• Support integrations with AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Vercel AI SDK
• Assist Product Marketing with technical components for product launches

Requirements

• Experience in technical sales working with prospects, customers, or technical buyers
• Hands-on ability to read and write Python or JavaScript
• Proficiency testing APIs with cURL or Postman
• Understanding of RAG, LLMs, agents, context windows, and search APIs
• Knowledge of the difference between lexical and semantic search
• Strong technical writing skills for documentation and demo scripts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in solutions engineering, developer platforms, or API products
• Experience with developer-focused companies like Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, or HashiCorp
• Familiarity with the AI builder ecosystem
• Experience helping customers transition from evaluation to production
