Senior Staff Engineer - Java

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement crypto-related products such as crypto exchange, fiat gateway, futures, margin, lending and more
• Lead the creation of systems that will scale 100x, driving transformative infrastructure and architecture upgrades
• Lead and guide day-to-day development activities through hands-on involvement in architecture decisions, designs, design reviews, code reviews, and implementation
• Set up and maintain system infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
• 9+ years of experience in the full software development lifecycle
• 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership/management position
• Proven track record of leading teams to deliver high business impact and breakthrough results in fast-moving environments
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and familiarity with the Spring framework
• Expertise in MySQL and experience with at least one NoSQL database
• Proficient in distributed system design and knowledge of at least one messaging middleware and its design principles
• Strong cross-team communication skills
