Senior Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evolve the credit platform architecture with a focus on scalability and resilience
• Code critical solutions serving as a technical example for the team
• Mentor engineers promoting good design and architecture practices
• Build robust observability with dashboards and metrics for critical systems
• Interact with partner teams to create solutions for internal clients
• Adapt cross-team technical directions to the team's specific context

Requirements

• Solid experience with Java or Kotlin
• Proven experience in high-availability critical systems (banking, payments, or marketplace)
• Deep knowledge of software architecture and domain design
• Practical experience with monitoring, observability, and system metrics
• Ability to influence technical decisions with clear and assertive communication
• Product vision that connects technology with business impact
• Autonomy to take on responsibilities and deliver results

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated environments (insurance, fintechs) or credit platforms
• Experience with artificial intelligence applied to regulated contexts
• History of working in fintechs or digital financial products
