Senior Staff Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and drive architectural decisions for embedded camera platforms
• Architect software for edge devices, including encoding, storage, streaming, and retrieval
• Serve as the primary technical authority in a Joint Design Manufacturing (JDM) model
• Collaborate with TPMs, Hardware, and Product Management teams
• Drive architecture and code reviews and mentor engineers
• Direct the implementation of camera analytics and AI-driven tools

Requirements

• 8+ years of total software engineering experience
• Proven track record in Staff or Senior Staff roles
• Deep expertise in embedded Linux and custom Yocto distributions
• Experience with video processing pipelines
• Foundational understanding of low-level hardware and MCU/RTOS
• Experience architecting edge-based camera analytics and Edge AI models
• Success driving technical outcomes within a JDM framework
• Proficiency in leveraging AI-driven development tools
