Senior Strategic Account Manager - DeFi

Responsibilities

• Establish a comprehensive account management plan, including community engagement, DAO governance, delegate outreach, product integration, and roadmap alignment.
• Undertake new business development to acquire DeFi protocols for Chainlink.
• Create and oversee team structure for the account management plan.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Grow the usage of existing products.
• Gather user feedback to help product teams develop new features and enhance user satisfaction.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in account, new business, or relationship management within technical environments.
• Proven ability to manage large and complex accounts, engaging stakeholders at all levels and functions.
• Strong knowledge of web3 / blockchain technology, with hands-on DeFi experience.
• Ability to read code, conduct technical conversations, and navigate large-scale software projects is highly desirable.
• Pre-sales experience and strong business acumen, with success in driving commercial negotiations.
• 2+ years working with decentralized applications (DApps), smart contracts, and blockchain tech.
• Willingness to travel at least 20%.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within other non-EVM ecosystems.
• Strong experience navigating DAOs.
