Senior System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer enterprise virtualization platforms using VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V
• Ensure availability, performance, and security of virtualized environments and data center infrastructure
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management
• Collaborate with SRE, DevOps, and Network teams to resolve complex production issues
• Manage and optimize enterprise storage, SAN, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
• Drive infrastructure automation through scripting and evaluation of optimization opportunities

Requirements

• Strong expertise in VMware virtualization (ESXi, vCenter)
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSAN and HCI operations
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Hyper-V and SCVMM
• Solid knowledge of virtual networking (vSwitches, VLANs, NIC teaming)
• Practical experience with SAN and protocols like iSCSI and Fibre Channel
• Proficiency in automation using PowerShell, PowerCLI, Python, or Bash
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
• English proficiency level B1+
