Senior Tax Associate

Responsibilities

• Tax planning and preparation for high-net-worth individuals and their related entities
• Performing first reviews on certain individual and fiduciary returns
• Ensuring compliance with all federal and state filing requirements on behalf of clients
• Acting as a resource to business management teams for tax planning, tax research, and ongoing education
• Assisting Tax Managers with educating permanent and seasonal tax preparation staff
• Communicating relevant tax developments to clients through newsletters and social media

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience preparing individual, fiduciary, partnership, and S-corp tax returns
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work additional hours during busy season

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, CPA candidate, or EA designation
• Experience preparing multi-state returns
• Experience with ProSystem fx® Tax, CCH Axcess, CCH Workflow, Engagement, or BNA Income Tax™ Planner
