Responsibilities

• Perform detailed technical reviews of federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and nonprofits
• Apply judgment to distinguish high-impact issues from negligible discrepancies
• Verify that QuickBooks Online data ties to Schedule L for clients who maintain internal books
• Respond to client questions about return details and technical tax matters
• Identify recurring error patterns and provide direct feedback and training to tax staff
• Stay current on federal and state tax law changes

Requirements

• Active CPA license or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification
• 8+ years of experience in tax preparation
• 2+ years in a dedicated review capacity
• Experience reviewing individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and nonprofits
• Expert proficiency with CCH Axcess and QuickBooks Online
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and financial statements
• Professional communication skills for client interaction
