Senior Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Product Manager based in the UAE you will own payment products and integrations that deliver secure, compliant and seamless checkout experiences across multiple regions. You will act as the technical lead for gateway integrations, drive cross-functional delivery, and ensure alignment with platform standards.

• Collaborate with payment gateway providers and external partners to establish strategic relationships and integration roadmaps
• Manage and drive integration of multiple payment gateways, ensuring compatibility, security and performance
• Coordinate with Account Management, Finance, TAM and Engineering to deliver exceptional merchant onboarding and operations
• Explore and implement new payment methods, mobile carrier billing options and authentication flows with external partners
• Scope technical initiatives, analyse system compatibility (APIs, SDKs, databases) and recommend required changes
• Provide technical consulting and project management to ensure high-quality delivery of merchant integrations
• Specify detailed product requirements for the core platform, defining payment standards and API implementations
• Draft and clarify user stories and acceptance criteria for cross-functional product teams
• Support product development execution with Product Design, Technology and Data Science teams
• Participate actively in UAT to validate implementations and ensure product quality

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of alternative payment methods and mobile carrier billing
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs and ability to execute requests and inspect results
• Familiarity with API authentication: Basic Auth, OAuth 2.0, JWT
• Comfortable writing small Java code snippets during scoping and troubleshooting
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and clear documentation
• Experience working with Figma or similar tools to create simple mockups
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 5 years managing complex technical integrations or product projects
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in payments platforms, merchant onboarding, or carrier billing ecosystems
• Experience with SDK integrations and mobile payment flows
• Background in designing API-first products and defining API contracts
• Certification in product management, agile delivery, or payment compliance is a plus
• Experience operating in multi-region/regulatory environments
