Senior Technical Program Manager

Lightning AI is the company behind PyTorch Lightning. We build an end-to-end platform for developing, training, and deploying AI systems, combining developer-first software with cost-efficient, large-scale compute.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution across multiple infrastructure programs including network builds, storage initiatives, and datacenter expansions
• Own program planning, milestone definition, and dependency management across parallel workstreams
• Partner with Infra Engineering, Network, DC Operations, Hardware, Security, and Platform teams
• Coordinate hardware bring-up and next-generation platform rollouts, such as new GPU architectures
• Manage risks, blockers, and dependencies across engineering and operations teams
• Provide clear, concise program updates to leadership regarding progress and mitigation plans

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in infrastructure, cloud, or distributed systems
• Strong experience driving execution across network, compute, storage, and datacenter infrastructure
• Proven ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional programs
• Experience operating in ambiguous environments with evolving priorities
• Skilled in program planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting infrastructure scale-out or hardware deployment programs
• Familiarity with GPU/compute platforms and network infrastructure
• Background working in fast-paced or high-growth environments
• Experience partnering across hardware, network, and platform/software teams
