Senior Technology Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead end-to-end data pipelines using Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Google Cloud Composer
• Design and operate data lake, data warehouse, and OLAP solutions using MSSQL, SSIS and SSAS
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT frameworks for structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
• Implement and maintain graph and NoSQL databases to support semantic analytics, search and recommendations
• Establish standards for data quality, lineage, governance and observability
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to enable RAG, knowledge graphs and agentic orchestration
• Drive multi-cloud infrastructure automation with Terraform, Pulumi or Bicep and CI/CD pipelines
• Champion AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery, testing and documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs
• Contribute to strategic roadmap planning: capacity scaling, cost optimisation and data-driven innovation
