Senior Technology Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead end-to-end data pipelines across Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments using Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Cloud Composer.
• Design and manage data lake, data warehouse, and OLAP solutions with MSSQL, SSIS, and SSAS (cube design and deployment).
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT frameworks to integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms.
• Implement and maintain graph and NoSQL databases (Neo4j, Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Elasticsearch) to support semantic analytics, search, and recommendation systems.
• Define and enforce data quality, lineage, governance, and observability standards.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to enable RAG, knowledge graphs, and agentic automation use cases.
• Drive multi-cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform, Pulumi, or Bicep and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data services.
• Promote AI-assisted coding practices (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor) to accelerate development, testing, and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers, perform design reviews, and promote best practices in data architecture, DevOps, and AI-native engineering.
• Contribute to strategic roadmap planning: capacity scaling, cost optimization, and data-driven innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience designing OLAP cubes and enterprise SSAS deployments.
• Hands-on work with BigQuery, Synapse, Pub/Sub, Blob/Cloud Storage and streaming ingestion patterns.
• Strong background in performance tuning, data modeling, and query optimization for large-scale systems.
• Experience automating cloud infrastructure at scale with Terraform, Pulumi, or Bicep.
• Familiarity with observability tools and data lineage platforms.
• Prior experience contributing to national-level or large enterprise data/AI projects.
• Certifications in Azure, Google Cloud, or relevant data engineering areas are a plus.
