Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Architect the end-to-end player journey for a new Fruit Ninja sequel, translating gameplay concepts into clear user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Define and maintain cohesive UX systems and interaction patterns to ensure consistency across game features and menus.
  • Collaborate closely with Game Designers, Product Managers, Artists, and Engineers to align UX with product goals and F2P mechanics.
  • Lead playtesting sessions, analyze player data, and convert insights into prioritized UX improvements.
  • Produce clear UX specifications and documentation to support efficient implementation.
  • Mentor junior designers, provide design reviews, and promote UX best practices across the team.
  • Balance player-centric design with monetization objectives to optimize retention and engagement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years UX experience (mobile game focus)
  • Shipped F2P title
  • Mobile UX
  • Figma
  • Playtesting
  • Game analytics
  • Systems thinking
  • Communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Visual UI design skills for high-fidelity mockups
  • Familiarity with Unity engine for in-game reviews
  • Experience with GameAnalytics / Firebase or similar
  • Prior mentorship or leadership experience in a design team
  • Portfolio showing systemic UX design and measurable impact
