Senior UX Research and Design Specialist

Responsibilities

• Lead qualitative and quantitative research initiatives including focus groups, interviews, and usability testing
• Conduct market and competitive analysis for EdTech solutions
• Convert user pain points into high-fidelity web designs and interactive layouts
• Collaborate with front-end designers to deliver design specifications
• Build accessible teacher dashboards and data visualizations
• Manage participant recruitment across K-12 demographics

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in UX research, interface design, or digital analytics
• Mastery of contemporary UI wireframing and prototyping ecosystems like Figma
• Proven ability to present research artifacts to technical squads and leadership
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a K-12 educator or instructional coach
• Functional understanding of HTML5 and CSS3
• Proficiency with AI productivity tools for research and prototyping
• Familiarity with WCAG accessibility and FERPA privacy standards
