Senior Vendor Manager, HOP UAE

Responsibilities

• Drive the strategic agenda for Hop in line with Deliveroo's wider grocery strategy, collaborating with senior leaders in the UAE and HQ.
• Lead a team of Vendor Managers, guiding commercial negotiations and strategic planning with vendors.
• Monitor and analyze partner performance metrics and lead operational performance routines, including weekly reviews.
• Review site operating practices, recommending improvements to reduce delivery issues and improve operational efficiencies.
• Coordinate resolution of short-term operational issues with key internal Deliveroo functions.
• Increase mutual growth via sustainable increases in order volume, AOV, vendor margin, and customer experience.
• Conduct analytical deep-dives to identify value opportunities by understanding customer behavior and benchmarking against peers.
• Define and deliver the best value proposition for customers across selection, promotions, pricing, and service levels.
• Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that drive partner value.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a vendor, account management, or commercial role
• 3+ years of experience in, or working with online or offline grocery retail (preferable)
• Strong relationship building, organization, and communication skills (face-to-face, video, phone, email)
• Data analysis skills for actionable performance recommendations
• Strategy development for business growth, with fast-paced execution
• Team player able to work at all levels within Deliveroo
• Stakeholder management and ability to handle challenging conversations
