Senior Vice President, Payments Controls and Regulatory Management Risk Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of MEA-based Business Risk managers focused on risk management, governance, and regulatory agendas
• Act as the key point of contact for the Payments business across MEA Services
• Identify enhancements to documentation, controls, and processes to comply with local risk and regulatory requirements
• Lead escalations for MEA Payments Senior Management in accordance with firmwide guidelines
• Advise on the design and implementation of key controls across relevant Operational Risk stripes
• Oversee the operations of governance committees, including chairing meetings and managing agendas
• Manage Prudential and Regulatory Risk, including regulatory change, implementation, and reporting
• Oversee Business Risk Governance, Operational and Processing Risk, and Manager Control Assessments (MCA)
• Manage Third Party Management including vendors, FMIs, and Agent Banks

Requirements

• Minimum ten years of experience in the Financial Services industry
• Sound knowledge of Payments business and products (Clearing, Real Time Payments, Cross Border Payments, etc.)
• Proven experience with Controls and Enterprise Risk Management frameworks
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to manage through influence
• Analytical mindset with risk-based thinking
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Project)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within a regulatory environment for Payments
• Ability to navigate and drive change within large, complex, and highly matrixed global organizations
