Job description

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement graphics rendering solutions using the Vulkan API
  • Develop and maintain low-level graphics software components in C
  • Optimize graphics pipelines for performance, memory consumption, and resource utilization
  • Implement advanced rendering techniques and visual effects using GLSL shaders
  • Analyze and improve rendering performance on embedded and automotive platforms
  • Work with hardware and driver teams to ensure efficient GPU utilization
  • Investigate and resolve graphics driver, synchronization, and performance issues
  • Implement robust memory management and thread-safe scalable solutions
  • Profile CPU and GPU workloads to identify bottlenecks
  • Apply secure and reliable coding practices for safety-critical environments

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the Vulkan API and graphics programming principles
  • Strong expertise in low-level C programming
  • Solid understanding of graphics rendering concepts (VBOs, Texturing, Anti-Aliasing, Rendering Pipelines)
  • Experience developing performance-sensitive software
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
  • Several years of experience in graphics software development or embedded systems
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GPU hardware architecture and graphics drivers
  • Experience with low-level driver development
  • Proficiency in GLSL shader development
  • Experience with safety-certifiable coding standards (e.g., ISO 26262)
  • Experience in automotive, industrial, or safety-critical systems
  • Expertise in real-time system performance profiling and debugging
