Senior/Principal Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and own a brand-new Node.js runtime protection product line
• Determine technical approaches including instrumentation strategy and deployment shape
• Implement the product end-to-end using modern dev infrastructure and LLM tools
• Develop detection logic and methodology to minimize false positives and negatives
• Integrate with existing threat intelligence stacks and real-time attack feeds

Requirements

• Familiarity with the Node.js runtime and JavaScript ecosystem
• Strong web application security fundamentals and knowledge of practical exploitation
• Understanding of how detection rules behave at scale
• Ability to act as PM, architect, lead engineer, and QA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience directing AI coding agents
• Prior work on runtime-protection products, WAFs, or instrumentation tooling
• Background in malware analysis or incident response
• Familiarity with managed-hosting environments
• History of public security research or vulnerability disclosures
