SEO Content Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and own the SEO content strategy across UAE and regional markets, including guides, landing pages, long-form articles, data-driven assets and topic clusters.
• Lead editorial operations: manage ideation, briefs, editing, publishing, and content governance across writers, editors, freelancers and agencies.
• Ensure on-page SEO best practices (metadata, structure, internal linking, schema, E‑E‑A‑T, readability) and collaborate with Content SEO Specialists on templates and SERP targeting.
• Run content audits, optimization, pruning and republishing strategies to improve rankings, engagement and conversions.
• Monitor content performance using GSC, GA, Semrush, Ahrefs and other analytics tools; report on KPIs, trends and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Technical SEO, UX, Brand, PR and Data teams to create search-friendly, user-first content experiences.
• Drive experimentation and continuous improvement: test formats (interactive, video scripts, data visualisations), AI-assisted workflows and content experiments.

Requirements

• 5+ years in SEO-driven content roles or editorial leadership.
• Proven expertise in keyword research, search intent and SERP analysis.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to clarity and accuracy.
• Experience managing content teams, freelancers or agencies.
• Proficient with SEO and analytics tools (GSC, GA, Semrush, Ahrefs or equivalent).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and structured content systems.
• Excellent organizational, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven product and marketplace environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at high-traffic consumer platforms, marketplaces or real estate businesses.
• Knowledge of schema markup, content A/B testing and E‑E‑A‑T frameworks.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted content workflows and content automation tools.
• Background in journalism, editorial, communications or digital media is a plus.
• Prior experience producing data-driven content and collaborating with research or PR teams.
