Service Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

• Understand contractual obligations and ensure delivery of services to agreed service descriptions and SLA/OLA, including establishing and ongoing ownership of KPIs as necessary.
• Responsible for end-to-end service delivery of networking projects for global customers.
• Act as an effective communicator with excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
• Ensure project timelines are met by overseeing on-time delivery.
• Define a communication plan for all stakeholders, secure buy-in for status report formats, and communicate on a defined frequency.
• Manage proactive communication with customers during the delivery phase, particularly if risks or possible delays arise, including planning Customer Acceptance Tests for the project.
• Oversee order prioritization and ensure priority is respected during the RFC delivery phase.
• Manage the delivery plan at the project level, planning through to the last site delivery.
• Manage the interface between internal resources and the customer.

Requirements

• Degree in telecommunications (preferred)
• Project Management Certification (PMI PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent preferred)
• Previous involvement in network deployment projects (preferred)
• Technical knowledge in telecom, such as WAN, LAN (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
