ServiceNow Lead Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop customer applications for Work Order management, scheduling, and dispatch
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key functionality within custom ServiceNow instances
• Enhance ServiceNow event rules to ensure proper CMDB binding
• Interact with technical SMEs to gather environment information for service mapping and event work

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a ServiceNow Lead Engineer focusing on Platform, Custom Apps, and Integrations
• Ability to develop interfaces for various user audiences via custom application models or Service Portals
• Experience developing integrated logic and functional components using REST APIs
• Understanding of service-oriented and distributed application architecture (web services, data access, client/server)
• Knowledge of credential-less and credential-based Discovery
• Experience installing and configuring ServiceNow products including Service Graph Connectors and Multisource CMDB
• Ability to extend Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure and Application Patterns
• Proficiency in managing MID servers and using command line consoles for Service Mapping
• Expertise in configuring Identification Rules and multi-tier service discovery
